These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the EPA 608 Practice Test website and services located at epa608practicetest.net ("Service," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

EPA 608 Practice Test provides an online educational platform to help HVAC technicians and students prepare for the EPA Section 608 refrigerant certification exam. The Service includes:

• Free practice tests for all EPA 608 sections (Core, Type I, Type II, Type III, Universal)
• Optional Pro Lifetime access with enhanced features (described in Section 3)
• Study resources, articles, and exam preparation guides

The Service is provided for educational preparation purposes only. Passing the EPA 608 exam requires testing through an EPA-approved certifying organization. We are not affiliated with the EPA, ESCO Institute, Mainstream Engineering, or any other certifying body.

2. Free Tier

The Free tier is available to all users without registration or payment. Free features include access to practice questions, basic test history stored in your browser, and all educational content on the site. No credit card is required to use the Free tier.

Free tier features are subject to change. We reserve the right to modify, limit, or discontinue any free features with or without notice, though we will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant changes.

3. Pro Lifetime Access

Pro Lifetime access is a one time purchase that provides enhanced features for the duration of the Service ("Lifetime"). "Lifetime" means for as long as EPA 608 Practice Test continues to operate this platform. It does not constitute a guarantee of perpetual operation.

Pro Lifetime features currently include, and are subject to expansion:

• Full question bank (880 verified questions with detailed explanations — same bank free users access, unlocked for all)
• AI Tutor access for HVAC certification questions
• Weak Spot Drill — adaptive training targeting your lowest scoring topics
• Advanced analytics and performance radar
• All future features added to the Pro tier

4. Payment and Billing

All purchases of Pro Lifetime access are processed by Polar ("Polar"), who acts as the Merchant of Record for all transactions. This means:

• Your payment is processed and charged by Polar Software, Inc., not by EPA 608 Practice Test directly
• Your payment card and billing information are handled entirely by Polar Software, Inc. — we do not store or have access to your card details
• Your invoice and receipt will be issued by Polar Software, Inc.
• Polar's terms of service and privacy policy apply to the payment transaction: polar.sh/legal/terms

The Pro Lifetime purchase is a one time payment. There is no recurring subscription, no auto-renewal, and no additional charges after your initial purchase.

All prices are displayed in USD. For international buyers, your bank or card issuer may apply currency conversion fees — those are outside our control.

5. Refund Policy

Pro Lifetime is a one time purchase of digital access delivered immediately. Because access and content are made available right away, all sales are final, except:

• where a refund is required by applicable law; or
• for a duplicate charge, or a technical failure that prevents access to Pro features and that we are unable to resolve.

Payments are processed by Polar Software, Inc. as merchant of record; any statutory consumer rights are administered under Polar’s policies. To request a refund under the exceptions above, email support@epa608practicetest.net with the email address used for your purchase and your order number (found in your Polar receipt). Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days.

6. Cancellation

Since Pro Lifetime is a one time purchase — not a subscription — there is nothing to cancel. You will not be charged again after your initial payment. If you purchased by mistake or are unsatisfied, see the Refund Policy in Section 5.

To close your account or remove your data from our systems, contact support@epa608practicetest.net. Browser stored data (test history, settings) can be erased at any time by clearing your browser's local storage.

7. Account and Access

Pro Lifetime access is tied to the email address used at purchase. Keep your email accessible — it is how we verify your Pro status. If you change email addresses, contact us to update your account.

Pro access is granted to one individual user. You may not share your credentials or allow multiple people to use a single Pro account concurrently. We reserve the right to terminate Pro access without refund if this policy is violated.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Scrape, copy, or extract questions, explanations, or other content from the platform for redistribution or commercial use
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the question bank or platform logic
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access the Service in any way that places undue load on our systems
• Misrepresent your identity or impersonate another person or entity
• Use the Service to violate any applicable law or regulation

Violation of acceptable use terms may result in immediate termination of your access without refund.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Service — including but not limited to practice questions, explanations, study guides, articles, and software — is owned by or licensed to EPA 608 Practice Test and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the content for your personal, non-commercial educational use only. You may not reproduce, republish, sell, or create derivative works from our content without express written permission.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from technical issues
• All practice questions or content are free from inaccuracies (we aim for accuracy but cannot guarantee it)
• Using the Service guarantees you will pass the EPA 608 exam

The EPA 608 practice questions on this platform are designed to simulate the style and content of the actual certification exam. They are not official EPA exam questions and are not endorsed by the EPA or any certifying organization.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, EPA 608 Practice Test shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost profits, data loss, or business interruption, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $14.99, whichever is greater.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection law.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms, without notice. Any refund follows the Refund Policy in Section 5.

If we discontinue the Service entirely, we will provide at least 30 days' notice via the email on file. Any refund follows the Refund Policy in Section 5.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association rules, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction for intellectual property violations.

If you are located in the European Union or United Kingdom, you may also have the right to bring a dispute before your local consumer protection authority.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will provide notice via email (for registered users) or a prominent notice on the site. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
